Know- India Programme


The Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi is organizing  the following Know-India Programmes (KIP) from January 2018. The schedule of KIPs has been uploaded at www.kip.gov.in. The eligible Indian-origin youth may submit applications online for the following two KIPs to be held in 2018:-

The programme is meant for youth from Indian diaspora, who have never visited India before, in the age group of 18-30 years, as on the first day of the month in which the programme is expected to begin. Preference will be given to 2nd and 3rd generation diaspora youth.  Non-resident Indians are not eligible to apply.  The portal www.kip.gov.in enables Indian-origin youth in the age group of 18-30 years to apply online for KIP programmes.

The applicant should not have participated in any previous KIP or Internship Programme for Diaspora Youth (IPDY) Study India Programme of MEA or any other programme organized and paid for by the Ministry of External Affairs and any other Ministry/Department in Government of India or a State Government in India.

Participant must submit the following documents with the application:

i) a medical fitness certificate

ii) information on allergies, if any, to be provided.

iii) medical insurance cover;and they may bring their medical kit, if any along.
