Announcement of Scholarship for the Academic Session 2016-17 under the Scheme of Propagation of Hindi Abroad at Kendriya Hindi Sansthan Agra, India

Kendriya Hindi Sansthan" (Central Institute of Hindi), Agra is offering one slot to candidate from Belarus  for the study of Hindi under the scheme of "Propagation of Hindi Abroad at for the academic session 2016-17 commencing from 1st August, 2015. The scheme is administered by the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The candidate selected for the award of scholarship will be granted admission by the Sansthan at its headquarter at Agra. The Sansthan would also make efforts to provide hostel accommodation to the selected  candidate(s) on nominal charges of Rs. 300/- per month for water, electricity, cleaning etc. He/She will, however, be required to bear the expenditure on food, that will be provided in the mess. The air-fair (economy class) both ways by shortest route for the selected candidate(s) will be provided by the Sansthan. Stay in hostel is compulsory. No one will be allowed to stay outside. Candidates must note that only vegetarian Indian food will be served in the hostel i.e. roti, dal, rice and cooked vegetables. It is not permissible to allow any candidate to go back without completing the full academic term. 

Candidates whose age is between 21 years to 35 years  and who have studied Hindi for at least one or two years are eligible for this course. Candidates needs to stay in India at Agra for the full academic term. It will not be possible to consider any request for allowing the candidate to stay at New Delhi under any circumstances.  Brochures in Hindi & English and blank application form are enclosed herewith. Information

The application along with personal bio-data, photographs, physical fitness, certificate of academic attainments, recommendation letter from the office/organizations and other relevant documents in support of the application should reach the Embassy latest by 15th March, 2016 to the following address:
