Transfer/ Gifting of 25 Mine Detectors to Belarus under Protocol V of Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) 10 June 2015 

The Government of India has gifted 25 Mine Detectors Minelab XTerra 705 amounting 272 000 000 (Two Hundred and Seventy Two Million) belarusian rubles (Rupees 11.78 lakhs) under the Project of Giving Assistance to Belarus under Protocol V of Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW). The mine detectors were handed over to the Belarusian side earlier. A formal handing over ceremony was held on 10th June, 2015 at the 1st Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asian (EECCA) Regional Workshop in Minsk, Belarus. The document was signed by Mr. Manoj K. Bharti, Ambassador of India to Belarus, and Mr. Kurakov, Head of Engineers Corps of the Belarusian Military.
